This is a self-paced class, developed by Jim Gustafson. Click on the presentation screen and learn at your own pace. Make sure you are not too far away from the screen so that you can see the text in the chat.
This class explains physical movement on prims. You will create a simple die that will roll physically on touch and a rainbow-colored greeter sphere that will follow the avatar on touch.
You will learn:
1. how to set objects physical and phantom via script
2. how to use llMoveToTarget to smoothly follow an avatar
3. how to apply an Impulse to a physical object
4. how to generate random numbers
This class is INTERMEDIATE level, you should have some experience in scripting LSL
PREREQUISITES: Students must have a good understanding in LSL scripting as it is taught in my basic scripting classes 102-106, 110, 111 and 114.
