Scripting 203 - HUD Interface

Intermediate Scripting 203 - Scripting and building a simple HUD interface
Instructor - Jim Gustafson

This class will tell the students how they can build a simple HUD to control other objects.

This HUD-Interface can be used to interact with the scripts done in Command Controlled Prim and A Simple Presenter Tool.

Students will learn:

- What a HUD is
- How a HUD can be created
- How a HUD can communicate with other objects
- How to avoid problems with the communication
- The use of llKey2Name()
- The use of llSetObjectName()

This class is INTERMEDIATE Level.

PREREQUISITES: Students must have a good understanding of LSL or have taken my basic classes 102-104 and intermediate class 201 or 202. Students must also be experienced in building, editing and linking with small objects and know how to use camera controls.
