Voting Tool now in Version 1.1

The new version for my voting tool is out now. Buyers have received the new objects free of charge.

Voting Tool

The new tool is available in my shop in Pinastri: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Pinastri/113/163/21

at slexchange.com or at onrez.com

NEW in Version 1.1:

you now have a menu if you click on the voting controller. You can now choose “privacy on” and “privacy off”. With “privacy on” (that’s now the default setting), no names will be shown with the votes. So you can also do votings without revealing the avatar names.

Also new: you can now turn the voting items in each direction, so your voting will also work if you use the items sideways.

How to use:

The voting tool contains two elements:

voting controller: Place this controller somewhere in hearing range (20 meters) near the voting items. Only one voting controller can be used at a time.

voting item: Place this item in hearing range (20 meters) of the voting controller and all other voting items. You can copy as many voting items as you need for the voting.

Usage: Make copies of the voting item and arrange them as you like. You can also change shape and color of these items.

IMPORTANT: Each voting item must have a unique name. So make sure you go into the general tab and assign a unique name for each of them.

if you want to take them into inventory, you can select all of them at once and just take them as one group of items. When you then rez them again, they will appear in the same arrangement as you took them.

Now let your audience touch their preferred item. You will see the number of votes and the objects will change their size according to the vote result. The objects will also show the names of the avatars who have voted.

If avatars change their minds, it’s not a problem. Votes can be changed easily if the avatar just click on another option. The new result will be shown immediately.

To reset the voting tool, just take all items into your inventory and rez them again.
